In 2019 Concrete Jungle established its first satellite branch in Athens, Georgia!
Concrete Jungle Athens works closely with local farmers to glean produce throughout the growing season. We are deeply rooted in our community and depend on our wide volunteer base for regular weekly fruit picks, farm and orchard gleaning, grocery store food rescues, and farmers market produce collections.

Like our friends in Atlanta, Concrete Jungle Athens’ main programming includes urban fruit picking and gleaning from farms. We also collect produce from farmers markets and grocery stores, process foraged fruit, and provide educational workshops.
